Prague Film School is a private institution providing training in the fields of cinematography, directing, screenwriting, editing and acting for film.

History
Prague Film School was founded to provide international students an alternative to the financially prohibitive film programs in the US
and more theory-driven film academies in Europe. The mission was to offer quality one-year training to aspiring filmmakers wishing to make a profession in film.
Originally a narrative film course, Prague Film School expanded in 2007 introducing documentary and acting for film programs in later years and both longer and shorter format curricula.
Today the school annually trains approximately 200 students from over 40 countries.
